What the documents say

The Integrity Commission said on 27 September 2020 that the integrity criminal court in Baghdad had sentenced him in absentia to seven years under article 340 of the Penal Code for deliberate harm to public funds in a contract between the Interior Ministry and a company to supply explosive detection devices. It said the supplier was an intermediary company not specialised in explosives, delivery was late, no certificate of origin was given and some devices differed in type and origin from the contract. The court ordered his arrest and the seizure of his property; he is described as a fugitive. The Commission did not name him.
