Sanctions and bans
This page lists every official action we have documented against Iraqi banks, people, companies and armed groups. These include US sanctions designations, decisions by the Central Bank to bar banks from dealing in dollars, orders of guardianship (the Central Bank takes over the running of a bank) and of liquidation, and court rulings. A sanctions designation is an official act by a government, not a court judgment.
