How we know what we say
Every figure on this site rests on a document, an article or a dataset that a reader can check. This page leads to all of them. Each document shows its SHA-256 fingerprint, a code that tells a reader whether a copy has been changed. 1,529 of the 7,452 documents also show their original or archived address.
